Borders

We are now offering a service for individuals living in the Borders area. We have been working in the Borders area for nearly 10 months and currently have 30 service users registered with us who live in a variety of areas including Galashiels, Peebles, Hawick and Eyemouth.

Since we have started our service in the Borders, we have developed a social group which runs once a month with the activity varying from month to month. Some of the activities we have arranged so far have been: painting; clay work; bird watching and visiting a donkey sanctuary. At future meetings we are hoping to go on some walks, visit the deer park in Jedburgh and explore some of the other activities the Borders have on offer.

Also if individuals who live in the Borders are able to travel up to Edinburgh, they are welcome to access the service which is based in the Number 6 building, at 24 Hill Street.

Please get in touch with us if you would like to find out more about the service in the Borders or if you would like to arrange an appointment to register with our service.

The main contact for individuals living in the Borders is Neil Hendry and he is contactable by phone on 0131 220 1075 or by email at neil.hendry@aiscotland.org.uk
