Employment Support

The Employment/Training Coordinator, Andy Horseman, works with individuals to provide practical and emotional support in relation to finding and maintaining employment opportunities. Andy works in partnership with IntoWork, an employment agency with a project specifically for people with Asperger Syndrome. The aim is to provide continuous support, accessible at any point from considering employment, through the application/interview process, to maintaining employment and dealing with day-to-day work issues.

Individuals should book an appointment with a member of staff to discuss their current situation. A plan of action can then be drawn up on how to move that situation forward, by developing strategies for specific situations and areas of difficulty. It can also be important to take account of other areas of a person's life and how these may affect the action plan.
