AI UK is an innovative, empowering charity with an acclaimed national reputation leading the way in supporting people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We provide a range of services that are centred on specific needs which is a unique and flexible approach and has contributed to our success.
ELAS (www.elas-scot.org.uk)ELAS is a social group for adults aged 18+ who have been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome or who think they might have AS. It meets at 7.30pm on the second Monday of every month at the Number 6 building.
Scottish Society for Autism (www.autism-in-scotland.org.uk)Contains information about autism and the specific services provided by the Scottish Society for Autism.
National Autistic Society (www.nas.org.uk)The National Autistic Society exists to champion the rights and interests of all people with autism and to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs. The website includes information about autism and Asperger syndrome, the NAS and its services and activities.
AspieTALK (www.aspietalk.co.uk)An online community for adults and teens in the UK and Ireland with Asperger Syndrome, including a variety of discussion forums, a chat room and the opportunity to meet other members through organised get-togethers across mainland Britain through the Aspie Village sub-group.
IntoWork (www.intowork.org.uk)IntoWork provide employment support to people on the autistic spectrum.
